This special event is reserved for the delight of children on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday afternoons. There are more and more participants every year.
So be warned that participation is limited to those who have signed up in advance!

From dusk till midnight, Marqueyssac’s gardens are lit up by a thousand and one lights for an evening walk to be enjoyed with family or friends.

 Every Thursday evening, two thousand candles are placed throughout the gardens and more than 150 sources of light outline the cliff walk and falls.

At twilight, the romance of Marqueyssac and its extraordinary gardens is enhanced by this play of shadows and light, highlighting the beauty of the cliff and its vegetation.

At sunset, it is a dream come true to discover the Dordogne valley with its majestic castles and most beautiful villages all illuminated : Castelnaud, Beynac, la Roque-Gageac…


Every Thursday four musical entertainments punctuate the walk :
* A jazz music group, Swing Nocturne, on the Esplanade
* A saxophone quartet from the association Saxo Feel, on the Great Walk
* A pianist, Thierry Combeau, at the Tea Room
* A singer, Raoul Moineau, and his barrel organ



Entertainment and show for children :
* Workshop of candle modelling

*Clown show : "Machou et Macroûte s'emmêlent"
This visual show offered by the Dakatchiz Company aims at all audiences. Siamese-twin clowns, Machou and Macroûte, have never met, until the day their bodies part, thus providing them with a new liberty that will soon give way to the weight of loneliness...

the 01st, 08th, 15th, 22th and 29th of July and the 05th, 12th, 19th, and 26th of August 2010.
Last admission at 23 :00 hours.

For a complete visit of the gardens, you need to come one hour before sunset.
